Welcome to our web site! You can find details of the musicians, book the band, watch us in action and listen to the music...

Now that things are warming up, the ceilidh season is really getting under way! We’re living up to our reputation as one of the country’s busiest ceilidh bands…. Bristol, Caerphilly, Gloucester, Cardiff, Warwick, Usk, Cheltenham. All within the next few weeks…though we still have some spaces if you’re quick…

If you're planning to watch the new period drama series "The Other Bennett Sister" on BBC1 or iPlayer be sure to look out for our SelFiddle and hear him playing for the dancing....they've done a good makeup job of ageing him though... for photographic evidence look at our "Gallery" page and scroll down to the bottom...

We’re not usually given to blowing our own trumpets (we have a flute for blowing) but we recently had this lovely review from a great evening at Jenny and  Jamie’s  wedding  which we thought we’d share:

"This is sincerely a fantastic group of musicians. The ceilidh was an absolute hit with our guests, and the music was so good, so joyful, and provided the exact energy we wanted for the evening. They had guests who had never met before laughing together as partners, and the groom, who is genuinely afraid of dancing, danced every single dance - more than the bride! They were absolute pros at keeping the calling gender neutral as requested, and super inclusive and encouraging of our guest who was using a special dance wheelchair.

We appreciated that they seemed to do two dances in a row, and then a little break before starting again, so people could dip in and out and get a drink etc, without feeling too stuck/overcommitted. As a result, it kept people happily on the floor all night!

This band is the best decision you could make for your wedding, and incredible value for how brilliant they are! Book them!"

Well, it’s good to know we’re doing something right!  It’ll go on our Thanks page as well…
